Three decisions

Set it up without code.

01

Open WooCommerce > Related Products.

02

Enable Hide the native Related products section and save the setting.

03

Test a product page, an upsell, a cart cross-sell, and the switch-off restore path.

Actual product

What you configure and what the visitor sees.

WooCommerce product page ending after the product summary with no native Related products section
The native related result is empty while the product, cart controls, and the rest of the template remain intact.
WooCommerce Related Products settings with one checkbox to hide the native section
Free uses one switch. Turning it off restores the native result.
Related Products Pro settings with selected products, selected categories, and active license status
Pro limits the same native-result job to chosen products or categories without scanning the catalog.

Free and Pro

Free keeps working. Pro adds capacity.

Free 0.1.4

No account or license required

  • Use one store-wide switch for WooCommerce's native Related products result.
  • Turn the switch off or deactivate Free to restore the previous native result immediately.
  • Leave upsells, cross-sells, widgets, custom queries, and builder sections outside the job.

Prepared for WordPress.org submission; no public-directory approval is claimed yet.

Failure boundary

Designed to stop quietly instead of changing store truth.

The free workflow is independent of Stripe, the StoreFixKit license API, and Pro. A billing or network problem cannot rewrite the parent plugin's data.

  • Never deletes, edits, ranks, generates, or reassigns products, categories, tags, upsells, or cross-sells.
  • Never removes a WooCommerce action, copies a product template, or hides unknown elements with CSS.
  • Creates no catalog scan, bulk write, custom table, cron job, frontend asset, telemetry, customer cookie, or storefront remote request.
  • Missing product context, invalid rules, an expired license, or an unavailable Pro service returns WooCommerce's previous related-product array unchanged.

14-day trial

No card required to test Pro on one site.

Stripe hosts checkout and billing. The StoreFixKit success page creates a product-bound license and Pro download. Add a payment method before trial end only if you want the annual plan to continue.

Before installing

Short answers to the important questions.

Does this hide upsells and cart cross-sells?

No. It targets WooCommerce's native Related products result only; upsells, cross-sells, and third-party recommendation queries keep their own behavior.

Why does a builder recommendation section still appear?

That section runs its own query or template. This plugin deliberately avoids arbitrary CSS selectors and action removal.

Does Free stop when a Pro license expires?

No. The Free store-wide switch continues locally; only selected product, category, and explicit product rules turn off.
