Early access research

WooCommerce Inventory Management

Early access research for auditable WooCommerce inventory management with background processing, save verification, and catalog-scale failure recovery.

This is not a purchase, reservation, or shipping product. We are measuring demand before authorizing development.

Observed pain

What merchants reported in public support threads.

Each item was captured from a current WordPress.org support page and reviewed for direct relevance. A report is a signal, not a claim about every store.

Stock changes did not reach the storefront

A merchant edited stock in the manager but saw no corresponding update on the live store.

Saved product fields silently reverted

Several values appeared saved, then changed back a second later and required manual rechecking.

Large catalogs became slow or crashed

A report reproduced the failure even after reducing the view to 20 rows and one column.

Proposed direction

The smallest outcome worth testing.

  • Verify persisted stock and product values after every bulk operation.
  • Run large edits as resumable background jobs with per-row results.
  • Keep an audit trail for changes, conflicts, retries, and storefront synchronization.

These are research hypotheses, not released features or delivery promises.
